Planetary Health<\/a><\/h3>

Planetary health is a solutions-oriented approach focused on tackling humanity\u2019s actions that affect the natural systems, so that both people and planet can thrive. To advance humanity\u2019s wellbeing, the declining state of planet Earth can no longer be ignored. Under this theme, we welcome submissions that address the topic (directly or indirectly) and bring awareness that can lead to further discussion and advocacy.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Crossing Borders<\/a><\/h3>

Given the current global condition, human beings often face and cross borders defined by geography, politics, ethnicity, religion, and gender, among others. Crossing borders may create minorities, often defined as such within a new context, due to the diaspora of communities. Cultural practices are maintained, hybridized, and discontinued when crossing borders. This theme seeks creative outputs that address borders and encounters with the \u2018other\u2019 or the \u2018self\u2019 as defined by these borders.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This theme focuses on untold stories that have shaped specific individuals, communities, or larger social movements.
