August 11-21 at Sunway University
The chosen student participants from both universities will team up and attend masterclasses and workshops with distinguished industry professionals along with our Sunway University and Lancaster University academics to develop their ideas and realise them in time for the exhibition at the festival on August 19 and 20.
This is an intensive program, and all participants should be prepared to work on their creative output throughout their stay. All participants will have access to the facilities at Sunway University, including computer labs with editing software as well as film equipment with a range of digital cameras, lighting, and other production gear. The program is divided between hands-on instruction and the production of a short creative output linking with this year’s festival’s themes of Planetary Health, Crossing Borders and Hidden Voices. All groups receive support and feedback throughout the process.
