Executive Producer of The Signature.
Caning is a Venezuelan/ Australian expat living in Malaysia for more than 20 years. He is a man of all trades. Have had a career in Banking, Showbiz & International Education.
He is currently Lecturer in Spanish and Industry Coordinator at the Asian & European Department, Faculty of Languages, University of Malaya. He is also an executive producer of award-winning short films: “Alegría” (2018), “The Signature” (2019) and is currently at work on his third short film: “A Secret Friend” (2023).
Short film Synopsis:
Pak Long has been visiting her only daughter in the intensive care unit after an unfortunate accident occurred to her. One day in the hospital, he receives the shocking news that (YATI) his beloved daughter has been certified brain dead after a huge battle to recover from the accident. After all the pain he has been going through, he never thought that Yati’s empowering last wishes could make him proud of her for a very last time.
