Lancaster adventure Hub
The Lancaster Adventure Hub reconnects the city with its canal through movement, wellbeing, and nature.
The scheme transforms the waterfront into an active public landscape, combining water sports, wellness, and community spaces within a calm and inclusive environment. Designed to encourage both activity and relaxation, the proposal creates opportunities for social interaction, recreation, and connection to the natural landscape of the canal.
The project aims to revitalise the Canal Quarter by strengthening connections between the city and the waterfront, creating a renewed sense of belonging and identity within the area. Through improved pedestrian routes, accessible public spaces, and enhanced green spaces, the scheme encourages healthier lifestyles whilst celebrating Lancaster’s industrial heritage and supporting a more sustainable future, whilst supporting a more sustainable and socially connected future.
