In it, we discuss the interaction between research evaluation frameworks and academics&#8217; individual career goals, their sense of scholarly identity, and their disciplinary norms and practices. In the week or so since it was published, it&#8217;s been retweeted and shared many times, and I&#8217;ve been asked for links and hard copies via ResearchGate. Perhaps it has touched on something close to the heart of those working in academia?
