The Lancaster walking seminar is (also):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">A MONTHLY WALK \u00a0DURING WHICH WE TALK-WALK ABOUT VARIOUS ISSUES CONCERNING ACADEMIC WORK. THE IDEA IS THAT TALKING-WHILE-WALKING ENHANCES THINKING IN WAYS NOT ATTAINABLE BEHIND A DESK OR IN A SEMINAR SITTING DOWN.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When to meet: <\/strong>The 2nd Tuesday of the month at 12<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where to meet:<\/strong>\u00a0Bowland North Quad (outside Marcus\u00a0Merriman Lecture theatre entrance &#8211; number 23 \u00a0on\u00a0<a title=\"Link: http:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/maps\/campus.pdf\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/maps\/campus.pdf\">http:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/maps\/campus.pdf<\/a>\u00a0)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who&#8217;s invited?\u00a0<\/strong>Anyone with an interest in academic work &#8211; students (postgraduate, undergraduate and research) and staff (academic and related).<\/p>\n<p>The origins and inspirations\u00a0come from\u00a0social sciences, arts and humanities however it is definitely not exclusive to those and we welcome and hopes to promote \u00a0interdisciplinary exploration and discussion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mobilising methods as well as seminars:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Part of the idea with these\u00a0is to take these walks as an opportunity to explore what else changes when you physically move a seminar around \u2013 and how we can effectively explore, document and tell some of the stories that unfold?
