{"id":548,"date":"2021-07-23T20:53:04","date_gmt":"2021-07-23T20:53:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/ucmmt2021\/?page_id=548"},"modified":"2021-08-01T14:25:44","modified_gmt":"2021-08-01T14:25:44","slug":"final-paper-submission","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/ucmmt2021\/final-paper-submission\/","title":{"rendered":"Final paper submission"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Authors of accepted papers are invited to submit their IEEE-compliant final paper by <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">16<\/span><\/strong><strong style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u00a0August 2021<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">.<\/span><\/h2>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><strong>General Information<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">In order to submit your paper for IEEE publication, please revise the paper referring to the comments of reviewers which can be found by logging into the EasyChair system and in the text of the acceptance email.The final paper should be prepared according to the following terms:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">All papers should be written fully in English, including characters in tables and figures.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Each paper is strictly limited to 2 to 3 printed A4 pages.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">At least one of the authors should register for a full\/student conference fee. One registration can be linked up to two papers. Only registered papers will be included in the UCMMT2021 Conference Proceedings, and subsequently submitted to IEEE Xplore if presented at the conference.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">A paper not presented will be removed from the final conference proceedings before uploading to IEEE Xplore\u00ae.\u00a0 No refund will be made to the authors of these papers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">A completed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieee.org\/publications_standards\/publications\/rights\/copyrightmain.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEEE Copyright Form<\/a>\u00a0is required for each final paper. Please complete the IEEE ElectronicCopyright Form (<strong><span class=\"markxeotowsbf\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">eCF<\/span><\/strong>)\u00a0online as soon as you submit the final version of your paper. (For instruction click here <a href=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/ucmmt2021\/files\/2021\/08\/Instructions-for-Copyright-signature.pdf\">Instructions for Copyright signature<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><a href=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/ucmmt2021\/files\/2021\/08\/Instructions-for-Copyright-signature.pdf\">)<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Please prepare\u00a0your paper using the IEEE two-column\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Word\/LaTeX<\/a>\u00a0template, that probably you have already used for the first submission.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Please note a copyright notice should be added to the front page of final paper.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">It is mandatory to prepare an IEEE Xplore compliant version of your final papers using the IEEE PDF eXpress system following the IEEE PDF instructions. All papers have to be received electronically in PDF format.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><strong>Paper Templates &amp; Requirements<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><u>Step 1: Paper Formatting<\/u><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">General guideline regarding the format of the camera ready paper can be found in the Camera-ready Paper template. Papers should be minimum 2 pages and maximum 3 pages.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">It is mandatory to follow the IEEE template given for UCMMT 2021. The templates can be found here<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Word\/LaTeX<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><u>Step 2: <strong>Add copyright information to the first page of the paper<\/strong><\/u><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The appropriate copyright notice is to appear on the bottom of the first page of each paper according to the guidelines set forth for an IEEE Conference Publication. Failure to comply will prevent proper publication of your work.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/ieee-pdf-express.org\/\">PDF eXpress site<\/a>, click on the link \u201cNew Users-Click Here\u201d and fill in your information. You will need the Conference ID: <strong>53364X<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Then, login using your email address, password and conference ID and deliver your file for conversion into pdf format (or have your existing pdf file checked). The pdf version of paper will be automatically sent to the email address that has been provided.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">If required, incorporate the requested changes, resubmit to PDF eXpress.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">An online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Check both color and black and white representations of the final certified file.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maximum final paper length is 3 pages.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Then your paper must be renamed as follows: <strong>IEEE express number_Last name (e.g. PID123456_smith_papernumber).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><u>Step 4: Copyright Forms<\/u><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">All authors (for both oral and poster presentations) must submit the signed IEEE Copyright Form together with their camera ready paper (see instructions below).
