A quota will be reserved to women and minorities. In that case, no need to be IEEE EDS Student members.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\">No postdocs, faculty, or other senior research personnel may be supported by the grant.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\"><strong>APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\">The student fee grants are sponsored by the IEEE Electron Devices Society.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\">Each applicant must be a student registered toward a Bachelor, Masters, or Ph.D. degree in physics, engineering or related field in a college or university when submitting the application.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Applicants must be, unless as stated above, IEEE EDS Student member\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\">Each applicant must be presenting author of accepted papers or posters at UCMMT 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\"><strong>HOW TO APPLY FOR IEEE EDS STUDENT GRANT<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\">An short application for the grant should be submitted electronically by email to the IEEE EDS Grant Panel <a href=\"mailto:ucmmt2021@lancaster.ac.uk\">ucmmt2021@lancaster.ac.uk<\/a> as soon as your paper is submitted\u00a0and should include the following information:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\">The applicant\u2019s study level (undergraduate or graduate).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">IEEE student member number <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Number and title of the paper submitted<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\">When submitting the application, please write \u00a0\u201cEDS UCMMT2021 Fee Grant Application\u201d in the email subject line.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\">\u00a0Successful applicants will be notified after the paper acceptance, with further instructions by email.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\">The EDS UCMMT 2021 Fee Grant selection committee reserves the right to make the final decision regarding all applications.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\"><strong>NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\">IEEE is committed to the principle that all persons shall have equal access to programs, facilities, services, and employment without regard to personal characteristics not related to ability, performance, or qualifications as determined by IEEE policy and\/or applicable laws.
