{"id":212,"date":"2021-04-11T09:06:26","date_gmt":"2021-04-11T09:06:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/ucmmt2021\/?page_id=212"},"modified":"2021-05-04T05:43:35","modified_gmt":"2021-05-04T05:43:35","slug":"paper-submission","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/ucmmt2021\/paper-submission\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Papers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Regular paper submission<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The papers should be prepared according to the following terms:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">All papers should be written fully in English, including characters in tables and figures.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Each paper is strictly limited to 3 pages including text, references, and figures (min 2 pages).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Chose the track that you think most suitable for your paper, in case you can submit to the general topic track UCMMT2021<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Chose the kind of presentation you prefer (oral, poster, or no preference)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Paper will be submitted using the <b>IEEE two-column<\/b>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Word\/LaTeX<\/a>\u00a0template, no different format will be accepted.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">In addition to the 3-page paper, authors will be requested to submit up to a <strong>200 word summary<\/strong>\u00a0(it could be the abstract of the paper) of their paper which will be published in the Conference Programme booklet.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The list of authors cannot be changed after the paper has been submitted for review<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">After the submission<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Papers submitted will be peer reviewed by the Technical Programme Committee<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Following acceptance of papers, authors will amend the paper based on comments provided by the Technical Programme Committee, prior to submitting the final paper for publication<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">To be published in the UCMMT2021 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in\u00a0IEEE Xplore\u00ae, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Non-refundable registration fees must be paid by the deadline. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">For authors with multiple accepted papers the registration is valid for up to 2 papers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Accepted and presented papers will be published in the UCMMT2021 Conference Proceedings and\u00a0submitted to\u00a0IEEE Xplore\u00ae.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The selection criteria will be:<\/span>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Originality<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Quality of the work<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Clarity<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">In the scope of \u00a0UCMMT\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Look forward to receiving your papers!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Submit you paper to <a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=ucmmt2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Paper submission<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Warning on Plagiarism<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12pt\">Papers will be reviewed on the basis that they do not contain plagiarized material and have not been submitted to any other conference at the same time (multiple submission).
