The event aims to be practical and collaborative and will consist of a series of sharing sessions and workshops<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Time:<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 Wednesday, 20 June 2018 from 1100 to 1530.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"padding-left: 60px\">Registration, coffee &amp; networking from 1000. Lunch &amp; refreshments will be served.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Place:\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Lancaster University Management School<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Cost:<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 The event is free-of-charge!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theme:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The theme for the event is: \u2018<strong>Developing the student: addressing issues arising from ever-increasing student numbers in management education<\/strong>\u2019 and given the context of the event, we invite participants to consider and contribute ideas that might relate to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">Transitions from school to university<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Peer learning and feedback<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Maths &amp; stats development\/support for management students<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Blending learning<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Technology enhanced learning and teaching<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Format &amp; Food for thought:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Per format, we invite you to contribute ideas that can fall under the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2-minute ideas (you can <a href=\"https:\/\/lancasteruni.eu.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_6XWWTXmyCQpexVP\">share these<\/a> without attending the event in person!)<\/li>\n<li>7-minute sharing sessions<\/li>\n<li>30 or 60-minute workshops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As food for thought for the above, you could consider an idea\/session\/workshop that answers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">How to? \/ How not to?<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">How has? \/ How hasn\u2019t?<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Why? \/ Why not?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Registration, signing up and sharing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Please visit <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/eltme2018\"><span class=\"s1\">Eventbrite to register <\/span><\/a>whether you wish to attend and\/or share an idea in person.
