Listed below are some useful resources, places to access free research and direct work tools.

Journal Articles:

British Journal of Social Work:   there are always a number of articles freely available from the British Journal of Social Work. These are known as Editor’s Choice and reflect some of the most popular, influential and thought provoking articles that have been published by the Journal.

Social Work & Society Journal:  this is a free (open access) journal that is published every 3 months.

Social Work and Social Sciences Review: a special edition of this journal looks at deprofessionalism and how professions (social work and health) have strived to preserve and develop their identity. We are pleased to be able to offer access to the article that focuses on social work: “Professional social work and the defence of children’s and their families’ rights in a period of austerity: A case study” by Professor Jane Tunstill and Carolyne Willow.
