Physics of Sustainability: a website for teachers and students<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

(Funded by the Ogden Trust)<\/span><\/p>\n

Our aim is to show just how important physics is to a sustainable future, and how using physics can be key to the careers in a low-carbon economy.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Climate change offers many challenges to the world, and using STEM, very often physics, is at the heart of many low-carbon solutions. The people for whom this is most important are those in schools and colleges now; our aspiration is to help them become better equipped for this.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Website<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Each topic has interviews with people using physics in their research and careers at the forefront of a low carbon future. There are interactive questions to guide students through some of the advances being made – and maybe influence their own careers.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Theme 5: Renewables \u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Theme 6: Transport\u00a0for our future\u00a0\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Theme 7: Overall Strategy \/\u00a0Recycling<\/a><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
