The City of Lancaster Lodge No. 281 is the local lodge for those connected with Lancaster and Cumbria universities, and it&#8217;s interested in attracting members from &#8216;undergraduates, graduates, staff and alumni.&#8217; It&#8217;s transparent, apparently, embracing &#8216;all the fundamental principles of good citizenship.&#8217; Freemasons are not only completely free to acknowledge their membership, &#8216;they are encouraged to do so.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace\">Lancaster is quite the hive of activity for masonry &#8211; the district website lists 23 active lodges and 11 Royal Arch chapters, not to mention several Mark lodges and Rose Croix chapters. Certainly a way to make connections.
