In the same issue subtext revealed that college Assistant Deans were to henceforth be retained on HR contracts, making them subject to employment law and receiving salaries, rather than holding ‘office’ and receiving a rent rebate. There were questions raised as to whether Assistant Deans would be better or worse off under the new system, and we hope to answer them once it has been in place for a few months.<\/span><\/p>\n
