There are five options for registration. In all cases students should arrange their own travel to\/from Lancaster. STFC-funded students can get this reimbursed from STFC. If there is any uncertainty in what registration type you should chose, then please contact us first. Please note that free self-funded student registration places are only provisionally free until registration closes. Registration closes on 09 August 2019 at 17.00 BST.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-tadv-p=\"keep\"><a href=\"https:\/\/stfc.ukri.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">STFC<\/a>-funded postgraduate students: <strong>free<\/strong>. Please note that this status will be checked with your supervisor (you will be asked for the contact details of your supervisor during check-out).<\/li>\n<li data-tadv-p=\"keep\">Self-funded postgraduate students: <strong>free<\/strong>. Please note that we are required to give first priority to STFC-funded students and so your free registration will only be provisionally free until registration closes.<\/li>\n<li data-tadv-p=\"keep\">Postgraduate students who are sponsored by bodies other than STFC, and who meet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukri.org\/files\/legacy\/news\/training-grants-january-2018-pdf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">STFC&#8217;s residence requirements for eligibility for an STFC studentship<\/a>: tuition is free, a fee of <strong>\u00a3464.70<\/strong> is levied for accommodation, meals, refreshments and entertainment.<\/li>\n<li data-tadv-p=\"keep\">Postgraduate students who are employees of UK academic institutions (including RAs on fixed term contracts): tuition is free, a fee of <strong>\u00a3464.70<\/strong> is levied for accommodation, meals, refreshments and entertainment.<\/li>\n<li data-tadv-p=\"keep\">Other postgraduate students, including employees of Government Departments, Public Bodies or Industry: <strong>\u00a3600<\/strong> covering tuition, accommodation, meals, refreshments and entertainment.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Registration can be completed at the Lancaster University online store.
