The\u00a0review of this event\u00a0in BioNews can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n An interdisciplinary\u00a0workshop on The Ethics of Mitochondrial Donation was held at the Centre of Medical Law and Ethics in the Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London on 10th and 11th September 2015. The workshop facilitated ethical discussions about mitochondrial donation, in light of the approval by the UK Parliament of The Human Fertilisation and Embryology (Mitochondrial Donation) Regulations 2015<\/em>. Participants included Liz Curtis (CEO of the Lily Foundation), Professor Annelien Bredenoord (UMC Utrecht), Professor Rosamund Scott (King’s College London), Professor Stephen Wilkinson (Lancaster University), Professor Wybo Dondorp (Maastricht University),\u00a0Dr Peter Mills (Nuffield Council on Bioethics), Professor Francis Flinter (King’s College London), Professor Peter Braude (King’s College London), Professor Anneke Lucassen (University of Southampton), Professor Doug Turnbull (Newcastle University), Hannah Verdin (HFEA), Dr Calum MacKellar (Scottish Council on Human Bioethics), Professor Martin Richards (University of Cambridge),\u00a0Professor S.
