{"id":6272,"date":"2021-07-14T10:19:37","date_gmt":"2021-07-14T10:19:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/recirculate\/?p=6272"},"modified":"2021-07-15T08:10:39","modified_gmt":"2021-07-15T08:10:39","slug":"fst-science-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/recirculate\/2021\/07\/fst-science-week\/","title":{"rendered":"RECIRCULATE researcher presents at FST Science week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Saanu Victoria Obatusin, a graduate researcher within <span class=\"NormalTextRun BCX0 SCXW144728946\">the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/recirculate.global\/research\/water-for-energy-production\/\">Water for Energy Production<\/a>&#8221; workpackage team, delivered an oral presentation at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/sci-tech\/research\/science-week\/\">Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) Science Week 2021<\/a>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She gave a talk on the research theme &#8220;<em>Resource recovery from waste: Optimizing anaerobic digestion to produce clean energy and safe organic fertiliser<\/em>&#8221; during the PhD research talks session. The partners involved in the research include the RECIRCULATE members Bhushan Gandhi, Dr Alfonso Lag-Brotons Prof. Kirk Semple, Prof. Ian Dodd, Prof. Roger Pickup and Prof. Alastair Martin.<\/p>\n<p>The week-long online event took place from 12th April to 16th April bringing together the Faculty Annual Conference and Public Lecture Series with a week of talks and activities. The theme of the event was &#8220;change&#8221;, recognising that all our lives have been changed dramatically and that in its many forms, science will help shape the changes still to come. The event featured <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bi.team\/people\/professor-david-halpern\/\">Prof. David Halpern<\/a>, Chief Executive of The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bi.team\/\">Behavioural Insights Team<\/a>, as a keynote speaker and talks about some of the fascinating research taking place in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/sci-tech\/\">Faculty of Science and Technology<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"excerpt\">Saanu Victoria Obatusin, a graduate researcher within the &#8220;Water for Energy Production&#8221; workpackage team, delivered an oral presentation at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) Science Week 2021.
