His\u00a0PhD project focuses on\u00a0the impacts of logging\u00a0on above- and belowground biodiversity and ecosystem function in Borneo\u00a0&#8211; part of the NERC Biodiversity And Land Use Impacts on Tropical Ecosystem Function collaborative project (BALI).<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div style=\"height: 50px\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"height: 50px\"><strong>Abby Wallwork<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/plant-soil\/files\/2013\/05\/Abby.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-425 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/plant-soil\/files\/2013\/05\/Abby-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Abby&#8217;s research project aims to identify relationships between shifting tree species communities and soil carbon dynamics during secondary succession in tropical forests. She is particularly interested in the interaction between above and belowground functional diversity.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div style=\"height: 50px\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"height: 50px\"><strong>Rosanne Broyd<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/plant-soil\/files\/2013\/05\/Rosanne.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-433 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/plant-soil\/files\/2013\/05\/Rosanne-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Rosanne is a STARS-funded PhD student working in a collaborative project between LEC and JHI in Aberdeen.
