We explore how children\u2019s ears and brains work together to hear and to listen. We assess how this changes when it\u2019s noisy, for example, in a classroom. We also investigate if technology (e.g., hearing aids and assisted listening devices) change how children hear and listen.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A big goal of The PELiCAN Lab is to make auditory research child friendly. To do this we have a dedicated paediatric auditory lab where we use computer games and virtual reality alongside our neuroimaging techniques, such as EEG.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
