This study is examining contact and non-contact sports impact on athletes hearing function.
Study Details:
This is an in-person study that is taking place on campus at Lancaster University. You will be required to complete an eligibility questionnaire asking questions like demographic characteristics and previous sporting history, before being invited into the lab. Once invited into the lab, you will wear an electroencephalogram (EEG), which measures your brain activity, whilst listening to sounds in different listening environments, one in quiet and one in background noise.
Participant requirements:
- Be between 18-30 years old;
- Play in an invasion-based sport like football, rugby, netball, basketball etc

Duration:
Approximately 2 hours / 120 minutes
