Due to the pandemic this event was held online.<\/p>\n<p>The Northern Premodern Seminar Series and the Department of English Literature and Creative Writing kindly sponsored a panel at the conference entitled &#8216;Creaturely Environments&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The panel featured a digital interlude performance of the play\u00a0<em>Thersites<\/em> (attr. Nicholas Udall, c. 1537) by the Beyond Shakespeare Company and a talk on the play by Lancaster&#8217;s Dr Liz Oakley-Brown entitled &#8216;Surfaces, Snails and Somatics in\u00a0<em>Thersites<\/em>&#8216;.
