TALOS is an enclosed multi-axis point absorber wave energy converter, which was proposed by Prof. George Aggidis at Lancaster University, United Kingdom. The idea incorporates the use of a heavy ball into the wave energy converter, named TALOS, so for converting wave energy in a multi-axis manner.

Some initial investigations have been carried out, see the design of TALOS I  and TALOS II , as well as the PTO system of a heavy ball connected with PTOs and springs, suing a specifically designed damper test rig.
