Post-doc research associate<\/span><\/h1>\n

I am<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>a research associate in the photosynthetic diversity lab of <\/span>Dr Marjorie Lundgren<\/span>. I predominantly work on phenotyping plant samples from diverse lineages to improve understanding of characteristic traits relating to photosynthetic type. I am also interested in optimising the yield and nutritional quality of brassica crops, a family that holds many phenotypes spanning the C3 to C2 trajectory. S<\/span>pecifically, I’m interested in C<\/span>2 <\/span>photosynthesis and how it holistically influences the plant metabolome<\/span>. This rare type of photosynthesis remains understudied to elucidate the interactions and implications on other plant pathways. <\/span>This knowledge may then be used by growers to identify robust cultivars that can maintain production of these highly nutritious crops under climate change.<\/span><\/p>\n
