UKRI Future Leaders Fellow
Lecturer in Plant Environmental Physiology
Dr Lundgren is a plant environmental physiologist whose research focuses on addressing global food security and nutrition goals though improving the photosynthetic efficiency of crop plants. To do this, her research programme focuses on (1) understanding natural photosynthetic diversity via studies of plant ecophysiology, phylogeography of photosynthetic diversity, and leaf structure-function and (2) establishing a C2 photosynthesis crop engineering programme.
