{"id":53,"date":"2016-01-22T10:04:05","date_gmt":"2016-01-22T10:04:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/litscimed\/?page_id=53"},"modified":"2016-01-26T14:55:55","modified_gmt":"2016-01-26T14:55:55","slug":"keele-university","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/litscimed\/keele-university\/","title":{"rendered":"Keele University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.keele.ac.uk\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-113\" src=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/litscimed\/files\/2016\/01\/keele_university_logo_jpg.jpg\" alt=\"keele_university_logo_jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"98\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Research into literature, science, and medicine at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keele.ac.uk\">Keele University<\/a> is conducted by a group of researchers, some of whom have contributed to the LitSciMed programme: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keele.ac.uk\/english\/people\/davidamigoni\">Professor David Amigoni<\/a>, English, is a specialist in the relations between literature and evolutionary science in the nineteenth century; and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keele.ac.uk\/history\/people\/alannahtomkins\">Dr Alannah Tomkins<\/a>, History, is a social historian of medicine of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, who is currently researching aspects of the English social history of medicine. Dr Tomkins co-organises the seminar series <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keele.ac.uk\/humssr\">Science in the Humanities<\/a> and has taught history of medicine for the University\u2019s School of Medicine.
