Its applications keep multiplying. Here are two new ones:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Led by Josh Chawner and the Jon Prance group, we have helped devise a new thermometer: <a href=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/laird-group\/files\/2021\/03\/2021-Chawner-PhysRevApplied.pdf\"><strong>Non-galvanic calibration and operation of a quantum dot thermometer<\/strong><\/a> by J. M. A. Chawner, S. Barraud, M. F. Gonzalez-Zalba, S. Holt, E. A. Laird, Yu. A. Pashkin, J. R. Prance in <em>Physical Review Applied<\/em>\u00a0<strong>15<\/strong>\u00a0034044 (2021)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We have shown that reflectometry can measure a supercurrent transistor, i.e. a transistor whose ON state is superconducting and whose OFF state is resistive: <a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/2103.16256\"><strong>Radio-frequency characterization of a supercurrent transistor made from a carbon nanotube<\/strong><\/a> by M.
