Silke Brandt<\/strong> is a Professor at the Linguistics and English Language department at Lancaster University, UK. Her research focuses on language acquisition, syntactic processing, and Theory of Mind development, particularly in relation to complement clauses and false belief tasks. She also investigates syntactic priming, implicit learning of linguistic structures, and the interactions between information structure and word order.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Aina Casaponsa<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Aina Casaponsa<\/strong> is a Lecturer in Language, Cognition, and Neuroscience at Lancaster University, UK. Her research lies in experimental psycholinguistics, multilingualism, and second language acquisition, with a focus on cross-language interactions and the brain mechanisms underlying multilingual cognition. She explores questions such as how bilinguals manage multiple languages, whether second or third-language acquisition reshapes native language processing, and the cognitive factors influencing successful language learning across the lifespan.<\/p>\n

Dr. Andrew Hardie<\/strong><\/p>\n

Andrew Hardie<\/strong> is a researcher and lecturer in linguistics at Lancaster University. His research focuses on corpus linguistic methods, especially methodology and applications to the languages of Asia. He is the creator of the corpus processing platform CQPweb and one of the key contributors to the Encyclopaedia of Shakespeare\u2019s Language Project.<\/p>\n

Professor Christopher Hart<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christopher Hart<\/strong> is a Professor of Linguistics at Lancaster University. His research investigates the link between language, cognition, and action in social and political communication contexts. He is the author of Language, Image, Gesture: The Cognitive Semiotics of Politics (CUP 2025).<\/p>\n
