Most companies have a benefit scheme for their employees, which can include anything from free gym memberships, subsidised travel passes, and discounted products. But some companies go the extra mile by adding a few unique benefits that you definitely can’t get everywhere. We rounded up five companies offering great, unusual, or unique benefits to their workers.<\/p>\n

\n1. BrewDog<\/h3>\n

With Scottish craft-beer company BrewDog, it doesn’t matter if your baby is human or not. Their ‘pawternity’ leave gives workers a week of paid leave if they adopt a puppy or rescue dog, to allow them to settle in to their new home. BrewDog also let workers bring their pets to work with them!<\/p>\n

\n2. TPP<\/h3>\n

The Phoenix Partnership (TPP) is a software company based in Leeds. They develop and supply clinical software including SystmOne, which currently holds over 44 million patient records in the UK.<\/p>\n

It’s clear that these guys are big foodies, as they have some great food-themed benefits for their workers, including free bacon sandwiches on a Friday morning, free fruit, and a \u00a3200 birthday meal allowance! They also offer a free bar tab at the local pub on a Friday – cheers to that.

3. Money.co.uk<\/h3>\n

If you get tired of an office environment, online comparison site Money.co.uk may be the employer for you.\u00a0The company recently renovated a 10,000-square foot Victorian castle, which has a variety of themed rooms, including a Star Wars-themed cinema!\u00a0Staff also have access to an arcade machine, pool table, table football, a PlayStation 4, and a gym, so there’s no chance of getting bored on their break.<\/p>\n

4. google<\/h3>\n

Google is renowned for it’s unique benefits, including free meals and snacks in the office, including breakfast, lunch and tea. There is also free beer and wine on Fridays!<\/p>\n

If you fancy relocating to the US, Google employees in Mountain View and New York City have an on-site gym, and in San Francisco and Mountain View, workers are allowed to bring their pets to the office.<\/p>\n
