The Dukes is a theatre in Lancaster producing a variety of professional live theatre and also showing mainstream and cultural cinema screenings. It is the only producing theatre in the Lancashire area and is the oldest cinema in Lancaster, operating since 1971. The majority of community involvement activity takes place at Moor Space. The Creative Learning department designs and delivers work for children, young people and the community in formal, informal and developmental contexts. There are clear guiding aims of creating high quality theatre with young people and being accessible to young people of all socio-economic backgrounds.
The Creative Learning department is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and highly passionate arts education consultant based in Lancashire and beyond to undertake a consultation of its youth theatre (closing date for applications 28th May).
The department is also seeking a Participation Co-ordinator to support the efficient delivery of its learning and communities work (closing date 31st May).
