Garchi International Ltd is a Lancaster based online platform to serve international homemade food. Garchi’s primary focus is Asian cuisine; their platform connects cooks with people who would like to have healthy, homemade international food delivered to their homes. Currently delivering on Lancaster University campus, Garchi are looking to expand into other parts of Lancaster in the near future.
Job Description
The successful Marketing Intern will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing a marketing plan to reach out to more customers and cooks
- Researching customer behaviour, marketing opportunities and how Garchi can boost sales
- Designing social media posts which could lead to potential customer acquisition or sales boosts
- Representing Garchi International Ltd in marketing campaigns on food stalls and at events
- Sales analysis and projection
Person Specification
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of marketing and marketing concepts (essential)
- Adept with the use of Canva, Adobe Photoshop or other graphic design softwares (essential)
- Research oriented, critical and creative thinker (essential)
- An initiator (essential)
- Relevant experience of Marketing (desirable)
- Familiar with Google Analytics or SEO (desirable)
- Possess video taking or video editing skills (desirable)
Please note this role is exclusively available to Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences students; your major must sit within one of the following departments: English Literature and Creative Writing, History, LICA, Languages and Cultures, Law School, Linguistics and English Language, Politics, Philosophy, and Religion or Sociology.
