FASS Internship Scheme: Content Delivery Manager

 

Copify Ltd, based in Infolab at Lancaster University, are a copywriting company that help source quality content from a network of approved writers, quickly and easily. They are looking for a Content Delivery Manager to join their internal content writing/editing team for 140 hours.

Main Duties

On a day to day basis, the candidate will support the team to produce original, accurate and engaging content to a set brief, including web pages, blog posts, product descriptions, press releases and more, for clients in a diverse range of sectors. This internship will provide valuable experience in preparing the candidate for an eventual role in proofreading/editing. Some proofreading and copyediting duties will be required to ensure content produced internally and/or externally meets their high standards.

Skills Required

  • Experience (through work or study) of writing commercially
  • Excellent written communication skills, including strong spelling, punctuation and grammar.
  • The ability to pay close attention to detail is essential
  • Good knowledge of a range of content types (blog posts, articles, product descriptions, sales web page content) and how they differ.
  • As this will largely be home-based, you must also be able to work on your own initiative with good time management skills.
