During my undergraduate degree I focussed mainly on palaeoclimate reconstruction. After graduating I went onto study an MSc in Quaternary Science at Royal Holloway.<\/p>\n Research Project:<\/p>\n My PhD research uses speleothem records from Northern Spain to reconstruct climate between 30,000 \u2013 45,000 years ago. It was during this time period that the Neanderthals are believed to have become extinct and some scientists believe dramatic climate fluctuations were responsible.
