Larissa is in her second year of her BSc Spanish Studies with Italian degree scheme.
Despite being a local to Lancaster, Larissa is well-travelled having visited many countries including the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia before entering higher education at Lancaster University. This experience fostered her passion of exploring different cultures and languages. Already proficient in Spanish and Italian, she hopes to add more languages to her skill-set, perhaps by enrolling onto additional language courses on her year abroad!
Larissa recognises that digital technologies can be extremely useful in the world of language-learning and she has positively experienced trialling of interactive software, such as Mentimeter, in the classroom. She believes that there are many more areas where ICT can be applied to benefit DELC and this project is the perfect opportunity to implement some of her ideas.
