<\/p>\nThe ‘Day in the Life’ project was begun under the umbrella of a research initiative: \u2018Interdisciplinary examination of the role of culture on human development: an international project for the development of new methodologies\u2019 based at the Center for Research on Culture and Human Development at St Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia (directed by T. Callaghan in 2002). Apart from the important initial role of Tara Callaghan, who provided the environment for the project to begin and flourish in early stages of data collection especially in Canada, Peru and Thailand, we also gratefully acknowledge the work of Nora Didkowsky, formerly the International Youth Programs Coordinator at the Center for Research on Culture and Human Development.<\/p>\n
