CUIDAR means <em>to take care<\/em> in Spanish and Portuguese.<\/p>\n<p>CUIDAR produced a range of outcomes including a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/cuidar\/en\/framework\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Child-Centred Disaster Management Framework for Europe<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The CUIDAR consortium consisted of an outstanding collaboration of researchers and practitioners who have both shared interests and a unique mix of skills and experience both inside and outside academia:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lancaster University, UK<\/li>\n<li>Open University of Catalonia, Spain<\/li>\n<li>Save the Children, Italy<\/li>\n<li>Save the Children, UK<\/li>\n<li>The Institute of Social Sciences, Lisbon University, Portugal<\/li>\n<li>University of Thessaly, Greece<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The CUIDAR project:\u00a0Cultures of Disaster Resilience Among Children and Young People\u00a0(2015-18), was funded by the European Commission under its Horizon 2020 Programme.
