Bursaries and Travel Grants (Now closed)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A small number of bursaries and travel grants are available. Allocation is competitive and based on peer review of the research abstract submission.\u00a0Please complete this Travel Grant Application Form<\/a>\u00a0by 05 June 2017. Decisions will be made by 12 June.<\/p>\n

Note that the Bonfire School is one of several events and we would be delighted to welcome you for the whole week.<\/h3>\n

There are many\u00a0ways to participate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
1.<\/td>\nTake part in all of it, the\u00a0Bonfire School<\/a><\/strong>, the\u00a0Mobile Utopia Experiment<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0Mobile Utopia Conference<\/a><\/strong><\/td>\n29th October – 5th November 2017<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2.<\/td>\nJoin the\u00a0Bonfire School<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>to discuss your research and\u00a0participate in the\u00a0Mobile Utopia Experiment<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(you don’t have to bring\u00a0an experiment)<\/td>\n29th October – 2nd November 2017<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
3.<\/td>\nMake a\u00a0Mobile Utopia Experiment<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and bring it to Lancaster<\/td>\n1-2nd November 2017<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Cancellations<\/strong> received before 2nd\u00a0August\u00a02017 will be issued a refund minus an administration fee of \u00a350. It is highly unlikely we will be able to refund costs after this time.<\/p>\n

Refunds shall not be payable for any total or partial failure of performance by the conference organisers of their duties and obligations under this Agreement occasioned by any act of God including but not limited to fire, flood, drought, tempest; act of government or state, war, civil commotion, insurrection, blockade, embargo, prevention from or hindrance in obtaining any raw materials, energy or other supplies, interruption of utility service, labour disputes of whatever nature including but not limited to strike, lock out or boycott; fuel shortage, disruption to transportation services or facilities, and any other reason beyond the control of the conference organisers.<\/p>\n
