Central themes are<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What is the disability studies curriculum for social work?<\/li>\n<li>Threshold concepts in disability studies<\/li>\n<li>Pedagogical connections between disability studies and social work<\/li>\n<li>The role of disabled and non-disabled people in social work education<\/li>\n<li>Overcoming the alienation of parasite professions<\/li>\n<li>The art of the possible: social model practice<\/li>\n<li>Mainstreaming the social model in social work education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The symposium was part of a broader stream of work concerned with the teaching of disability issues in higher education \u00a0being developed by CeDR.<\/p>\n<p>Outputs:<\/p>\n<p>Morgan, H &amp; Roulstone, A.
