I help with spoken English in government secondary schools and post-secondary education centres alongside delivering various courses, workshops and summer camps in the city.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What would you like to do next?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I will be starting my MA in Social Anthropology at SOAS University of London in September 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why did you choose to study at Lancaster?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I was attracted by\u00a0the interesting modules in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/lec\/\">LEC<\/a> and flexibility of the courses as well as the University&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/study\/teaching-and-learning\/collegiate-system\/\">collegiate system<\/a>. Upon visiting the campus I fell in love with the beautiful rural location and the ducklings, I still miss them to this day!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What was your favourite part of your degree and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The opportunity to undertake primary research in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/lec\/undergraduate\/geography\/fieldwork\/inequality-and-the-city-new-york\/\">New York<\/a> (as part of a LEC field course) and India (for my final year project).<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do you think your time at Lancaster prepared you for what you\u2019re currently doing?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My degree gave me a great passion for exploring and learning more about the world and taught me the cultural sensitivities I need to work with people from all over the globe every day.\u00a0 I am really excited to use my transferable academic skills in my upcoming masters course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What did you enjoy most about your time at Lancaster? (Including extra-curricular activities and beyond?)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I really loved being part of Lancaster University&#8217;s friendly, laid back community and made life-long friends there.
