This theme &#8211; Research, teaching and learning across disciplinary frontiers &#8211; has been chosen to encompass diverse aspects of the academic role and the ways in which we contribute to society. The keynotes will address both issues involved in interdisciplinary research, teaching and learning and provide examples of interdisciplinarity at work.
