In&nbsp;connection with the WGhats&nbsp;project, the site has also been used for <a href=\"http:\/\/hycase-wg.atree.org\/wc_2015_3\" target=\"_blank\">training of students in India in field hydrology<\/a>.In&nbsp;August 2015, the&nbsp;Hosagadde watershed was&nbsp;equipped with&nbsp;additional SMART telemetry sensors for rainfall, and a trial was&nbsp;performed with&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/basin-network\/smart-sensors\/\" target=\"_blank\">SMART sensors<\/a>&nbsp;measuring water quality variables&nbsp;at a high frequency.Location of the site can be found We are able to simulate the rapid dynamics observed in the DOC concentration data (measured using the i::scan\/con::cube <a href=\"http:\/\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/basin-network\/smart-sensors\/\" target=\"_blank\">SMART sensor<\/a> system) directly from streamflow data.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"560\" height=\"420\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wp.lancs.ac.uk\/basin-network\/files\/2016\/04\/model4.jpg?resize=560%2C420\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Comparison of\u00a0simulated DOC concentration (mg\/L; red line) and observed\u00a0DOC concentration\u00a0(mg\/L;blue line)\u00a0at Hosagadde.\u00a0DOC concentration was\u00a0modelled directly from streamflow observations using the RIVC algorithm (based on transfer functions).
