The University Staff School (USS) and the UNIBEN Demonstration Secondary School (UDSS)<\/span> are main partners and stakeholders of the ACTUATE Uniben team. The team has visited both schools on 25 September 2020. Prof Chris Emokaro, Dr Mike Ajieh and Dr Andrew Amenaghawon led the discussions with the staff of USS and UDSS. The USS staff are excited at the prospect of having a biogas digester installed in the school and agreed to get the school pupils involved in activities<\/span>. At UDSS the UNIBEN team were able to present to both staff and students, who have also expressed that they would like to be part of the project. Further engagement activities are planned in the near future.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"ACTUATE \"\"<\/p>\n

T<\/span>he Uniben has visited the USS and UDSS schools again on the 11 March 2021. During this visit\u00a0the staff and students of both schools were given project updates and information about the set up of the ACTUATE Clubs and ACTUATE Day (October), which will be run through CGE Nigeria. The bio-digester would soon be completed and the staff and students of both schools will be invited to attend the formal commissioning.<\/p>\n
